Flip Voyage
Captain Nemo has set forth a challenge to his most prized crew members, you among them. Earn the most notoriety to inherit his great legacy! You will take command of a bare bones replica of the Nautilus, exploring a map filled with dangers and rewards. Each turn, you will have the opportunity to engage in science, warfare, adventure and liberation, as well as build powerful upgrades to improve your submarine. Who will master the seas to become the next captain of the deep?
Rather than rolling and assigning, this game has you using a deck of cards and assigning the three cards revealed each round toward your three phases. Since everyone pulls from that same pool of cards, there's a chance you'll all be doing similar actions – but there's also a likelihood that you diverge into completely different options. Explore far along the map to collect rewards, complete actions to clear tracks, and upgrade your ship effectively to be tasked by Nemo as his inheritor. Add in a few challenge cards that you are racing to score first, and there's plenty of options to consider in this great, new game.
Flip Voyage: Fantastic Discoveries Expansion
The race is on to scour the seas for evidence that will lead to your Fantastic Discovery! You'll need to carefully plan your travel if you want to make your discovery and claim all the booty that comes with it!
A simple, yet satisfying expansion to integrate 8 discoveries into the mix for Flip Voyage. Each player gets their own discovery to pursue for the game, aiming to accomplish all five tasks shown on their card in order to unlock a reward. And yes, the reward is absolutely worth chasing after, with a hefty amount of resources that you will earn as well as a bonus in stars if you accomplish your discovery before anyone else.
Eleventh Beast
You are a CROWN INQUISITOR of The Imprecatory Society of Salomon's House. A secret order of daemon hunters commissioned by King James to battle the first BEAST. Since then, a new BEAST has arrived every thirteen years. The year is 1746, and the ELEVENTH BEAST is approaching. INVESTIGATE the rumors. LEARN its secrets. HUNT it down, and purge this evil from the land. Knowledge is your weapon.
The first launch game from a new-to-PNP Arcade publisher: Exeunt Press. This one offers a short and simple, yet strikingly rich solo experience if you want to delve into it wholeheartedly. You are tasked with tracking down the beast and slaying it, and along the way you'll be finding rumors and investigating their truthfulness. The real key, to a full-fledged experience, is to journal your experiences as they come and to sketch the beast and its wards or the weapons you learn can impact it. Sharpen those pencils and go all-in on this game experience to track down and defeat the beast.
GRIMLORE Profane Truths - Case File #47: Clark Ashton, Author
Clark's story so far: Writer Clark Ashton inherits from Kim Smith, attends her funeral, and learns Miskatonic withheld her body. He slips into the morgue, discovers the corpse stolen, searches her derelict home, consults Arkham's Historical Society, and tracks the trail to woods and a cemetery, where among strange tokens and a hulking guardian he breaks a cult's resurrection rite.
Sleep then betrays him: dreams of a fractured sphere encircled by eyes lead to Larkspur Asylum and Joel Blackmoor's journal on Metepa, a mind-parasite. Across a dream-river to Mount Hesperos, Clark confronts Lyssie, binds it with ancient sigils, and fights to finally reclaim Kim's scattered essence.
For those who have been playing along the previous 46 weeks, you probably think you know GRIMLORE. But this week we have something brand new – and oh, is it exciting! The map to explore is massive, spanning an entire page. There's four different and unique Threats lurking about that map, each seeking to ruin Clark's experience. But even more than that: there's two (out of four) characters to employ as you delve into the largest GRIMLORE adventure yet. Get excited, folks!
Roll or Stand: Jurassic Adventures
Roll or Stand: Jurassic Adventures is a cooperative and solo roll-and-write, print-at-home game. It combines Blackjack-inspired mechanics with thematic route-building puzzles, offering a fresh twist on the roll-and-write genre. Embark on a replayable narrative campaign featuring 3 comic book-styled scenarios, each with multiple possible outcomes. Explore 12 unique puzzles, each thematically tied to a cinematic scene.

Roll or Stand: Forbidden Adventures
Roll or Stand: Forbidden Adventures is a cooperative and solo roll-and-write, print-at-home game. It combines Blackjack-inspired mechanics with thematic route-building puzzles, offering a fresh twist on the roll-and-write genre. Embark on a replayable narrative campaign featuring 3 comic book-styled scenarios, each with multiple possible outcomes. Explore 12 unique puzzles, each thematially tied to a cinematic scene.
These two titles are similar in DNA and rules, but differ in their theming and the puzzles they provide you to overcome. Operate with as much pressing of your luck as you’d like, teetering on the brink of busting until you don’t think you can continue to get lucky. Even when you bust, you get something, but like you’d expect it is far better if you can get close to the target number without going over. You’ll be marking lines on map sheets and using tools you gain to help you conquer the challenges of these adventures and, if you end up winning on hard mode, there’s an Extreme Mode to really push you to your limits.
Make Ends Meet
Play tiles. Build lines. Make ends meet. Be the first to reach the target score by completing long lines and nestling your tiles into tricky positions! This edge-matching tile placement game offers immense strategic depth within a beautifully simplistic rule set; perfect for a casual game over coffee or an intense battle of the minds!
A simple, yet interesting exercise in abstract gameplay, this one has you placing tiles to complete features. These features will span across several tiles, and will either loop in on themselves or reach natural ends. The real interesting part, though, is that if your opponent plays a tile and doesn’t finish a feature, your next tile must be adjacent to their placed tile - otherwise you can place anywhere. That weight helps it feel like every choice matters on those tile placements.
Space War: In Space!! - Epic Campaigns
Until now, The Long War had been contained, felt only in skirmishes and contests as the Factions of The Weave vied for power. With The Epic Campaign Expansion for Space War in Space, the true scope of The Long War can finally be realized. Fight for control of valuable Planets, Space Stations, and Moons, entrenching your armies in strategic Locations and using their unique Abilities to strengthen your claim.
Leave home. See the universe. And conquer it.
If you enjoy the concept of War, but always wished there was a little more theme and meat to the game, you’re not going to want to skip this one. Take War into Space, giving you access to thematic factions and player powers that can get activated over the course of the game. This expansion, however, adds locations to battle over in order to tip the scales further into your favor as you conquer the vast richness of the galaxy.
Space War: In Space!! - Academic and the Arcane
The Academic and the Arcane. Two sides of the same coin. Both hungry for the pursuit of knowledge. The pursuit of understanding. The pursuit of power. In their hallowed and unhallowed halls they open their books, slipping past dust and covers and vellum to reveal something far greater than themselves. But these quiet towers of learning were finally shaken by the war, a war that had spared them until now. Four Factions once untouched by the long conflict are now forced to put down their tomes and join the fray in pursuit of knowledge from perhaps the most important book of all: The Art of War.
If you enjoyed Space War: In Space!! previously, then you will absolutely want to grab this since it adds four new factions into the game, complete with power cards that will transform the landscape of the original power dynamic. While the core will remain really simple in providing a themed variation of War, this adds some extra layers that will leave you really enjoying how this design space is being explored.
Swatch: The Abstract Game of Art
You are an artist, mixing and matching colours to create unique colour schemes as part of Mix Inc., the company responsible for the hottest colour trends in art and design. Can you perform under pressure and compete against other artists to be the first to create your winning scheme?
An interesting color-blending game where you're using cards to trigger actions to take cubes and then trade them and mix them into new colors. Be the first to complete your required scheme, which means you need 3 unique swatches – one from each of the three decks – in order to trigger the end of the game. Turns will be quick, as the game keeps things moving forward toward the end goal. Can you master the mixing of colors in order to win?
Five By Five
In a world where dice have been taken for granted… wait… no, I don’t need a corny intro like that. Simply put, Five by Five is a game about rolling and manipulating dice on a shared board to complete objectives in your hand. Completing objectives earns you points. It’s that simple.
A fairly easy ruleset paired with a highly interactive game could be exactly what you need to have ready for this holiday season. Turns are simple, letting you play an action card from a hand and completing objectives, or discarding cards. Actions let you place dice onto the board, remove dice, swap the dice around, adjust their values, or even change the color of a die on the board. With everyone vying to complete their own spatial objectives, like making a 2x2 square of different colors or having a certain sum to a line total, you’re going to have a lot of manipulation going on that foils your plans each round.
Battle Pages: Kingdom of Fang Valley, Marching Order 4
Villagers are protected from the elements by the Fang Range but hunted by their namesake.
We're almost to the time when we leave Fang Valley behind, but before we do let's look at our Warriors and Structures that have helped us to defend the kingdom. The Knight is simple, targeting adjacent enemies. The Crusader does the same, but starts with +1 charge. The Barbarian also targets the same, but can boost damage by spending a charge. The Catapult is your workhorse to fend off the Red Dragons, since it can attack flying AND gets +1 damage from mountains (and there's plenty of those). But the Giant Crossbow is my favorite this week, since not only can it attack flying but it also has the Push keyword, which moves the enemy die 1 space when it hits them.
Power Creep: Gemma - City Center 2131
New communities, strange when compared to the old ways, completely normal, now.
We have Gemma back one more time, and this time she’s got an interesting and sinister threat: the Hidden Saboteur. While they might seem vanilla with their stats and low defense/attack, their triggered effect is painful! They make you cross out marked spaces in completed structures (and the leaders hit you for damage if you cannot resolve that effect), which is sneaky in its brutality. See, those Blueprints you unlock as you complete structures require you to circle numbers in completed structures to trigger them. Thus you can see the trouble…defeat those Saboteurs and defeat them fast!
Dangerous Space 2025: Thaydiss, Quarantine Mission
'Lightbulb' has earned his seat on the dropship. His willingness to cold-dive without a vacuum seal has made him a respected member of the crew.
This week's Repair mission is going to be a tricky one. Thaydiss doesn't have horrible movement and shooting skills, but he is also not very strong with either of those. In these scenarios, I feel it is always a toss-up as to whether you want to boost that movement up to get through a little faster in the non-leak rooms, or the combat to take out threats a little easier. Which way will you choose? With his Combat Expert, you can at least boost an attack die while marking diagonal to threats, so maybe that's the way I'll go...

Converge: Randomizers
An easy thing to integrate into your Converge game: this allows you to draw 3 cards in order to determine your Skillsets to use for the game. If you’ve been working to collect as much Converge as you can, this can be a very welcome inclusion into your experience. Not only that, this also comes with a global ability that you use (from the 3rd randomizer drawn) which is always active throughout the game. See how things like treating 1 and 6 as consecutive numbers, or the player without the artifact drawing from the bottom of the deck mixes up your gameplay experience!
Downtown Las Palmas
As the city of Las Palmas has expanded, its downtown area hasn’t kept pace. Expand this rundown neighborhood with new buildings and improve the lives of its many residents!
Okay, show of hands: how many can think of a board game which offers different win/loss thresholds based upon your hand’s size. Not the size of your deck, but your actual hand. This is an in-hand game with a delightful aesthetic and offers satisfying - and cheerfully frustrating - gameplay as you try to slot in cards effectively. Eventually you’re going to reach a limit on your capacity, and then you get to score the number of cards in your city and the number of visible scoring elements. Not a fan of in-hand experiences? There’s a tabletop variant you can use as well!
Phantasmic
As a member of the elite Phantasmic Dueling Squad, you know what it takes to wield the most dangerous spells. Test those skills by competing against other top spellcasters and use your knowledge of counterhexes to avoid getting knocked out of the competition.
An interesting dueling game that has 2-3 players competing against each other. There’s elements of bluffing involved by the targeted player for the round, and successfully calling a bluff can lead to some additional scoring by the person who led the round. I like how you can win by being the victor in 3 duels, or you can eliminate yourself and let the other players win by losing 3 duels. This can lead to some really interesting dynamics along the way as things start to resolve each round.
Phantasmic: Necromancy
Raising the dead is fraught with risk and peril, yet those who master it find themselves with more power than they could have imagined.
Simple expansions are among the best, and this is as simple as it gets. This just adds in a new book card and five new spells to mix into the deck, providing more counterspell abilities and opportunities to navigate the perils of spellcasting. This is one of those expansions that I’d probably just toss in from the start and enjoy the extra dynamics it provides.
Adventurous: Grand Expeditions
Scientists must always let their curiosity lead. Explore new scientific phenomena and uncover the factual truth behind old legends!
This exciting little expansion adds in new Marvels to uncover, a new Ship to use for your exploration, and adds in Research Sites on map cards. All of that may sound like a lot, but it is all really easy to integrate, and you have the ability to use all or some of this expansion alongside the base game. Feeling really Adventurous? Challenge yourself in the Epic Mode and see how well you do with a longer game length.
