The Seven Commands
Will you choose to be a benevolent leader or rule with an iron fist? It’s your choice.
A fascinating little solo game where you’re ruling your kingdom, trying to fend off the multitude of invading forces while keeping your people happy. Oh, and you need to expand your kingdom, which is going to put strain on things. Add in an event deck, which is going to cause some chaos to navigate and you’ve got a recipe for a fun little game. With only seven actions to choose from, can you maximize their usage to survive ten rounds and claim victory? Or will the forces whittle away at your settlements until your kingdom crumbles beneath you? Answer the call and try this one out now!
Battle Pages: The Kingdom of Hellenburg, Marching Order 3
There’s a saying in town – if Hellenburg folks didn’t have bad luck, they’d have no luck at all!
This week we shall look at the baddies facing you as you strive to defend the kingdom. We’ve seen the nastiness of the Giant Bat in previous kingdoms, with not only flying but its ability to Throw and completely wipe a unit. The Gnome Thief is going to be equally annoying, albeit a little less dangerous, because it removes gems from your inventory when spawned. But, of course, it will be the Cave Worm that you really loathe from their arsenal. Not only does it lock down Good Dice adjacent to them, preventing the gaining of gems, but it also targets all units in its column. Pair that with the humble Orc Raider, who targets all units in its row, and you have no safe places on the map this week!
Power Creep: Bohdan, City Center 2113
A figure walks through the streets at night. The few who’ve escaped its gaze tell strange stories of its power.
Another great week of Power Creep is upon us, and this week’s foe is going to help your radiation track to creep up. Pairing that with the inevitable food shortage appearing, and you are going to feel like your back is against the wall. You’re going to need to balance your approach to moving through these structures, including when to time the gaining of Bohdan’s unique Blueprint that we talked about last week. You may want to start by venturing into the Bowling Alley this time around, so you can scoop up all three resources you need to craft yourself a Radiation Suit…
Dangerous Space: Geida, Quarantine Mission
Geida was always the sidekick until her entire team got ‘wiped’ in a faulty training exercise. Now she goes solo on all missions.
It is time once again to run the gauntlet of The Hammerhead with Geida, trying to make sure you roll at least one usable 1 to add into each room before moving on. You will certainly want to do so in the Central Pod room, since it connects to the Command Bow and that’s the room that defaults to 3 Evil Dice from the start. She doesn’t have any reduction modifiers in her toolkit, so may the dice be in your favor!
GRIMLORE Profane Truths, Case File #30: Emily Harper, Mythos Huntress
After tracking the skinless things in the northern woods, Emily Harper returned home bloodied but unbroken. Her prey whispered secrets not meant for hunters, and something in her changed. Now, another threat rises, this time near her own coastal village. A corpse washes ashore, face contorted in joyless song, its clothing decades out of time. Locals whisper of the Washwoman, a ghost that wrings the sea from human bones. But Emily doesn’t believe in ghosts, she believes in things that bleed. And if it bleeds, she can end it.
Here we go this week with the 30th Grimlore, and this might be my favorite character yet. Drop your foes with things like the Gut-Spiller Crossbow, the Glyphed Field Knift, or even put your Ritual Salt Pouch to good use. You’re going to need EVERYTHING in your toolkit to be able to take down the Washwoman, who is ready to defeat Emily. You’re going to love when you pass your Strength or Agility test, as it lets you place a letter from the Mythos Slot into the scenario. However, the Revenant is here to drop those two stats, making it so you have a harder time tackling the boss this week.

Shallow Regrets
Steel your nerves and set sail on the worst fishing trip of your life! Catch as many horrifying things as you can, but push your luck too far and remorse might take the wind out of your sails!
Cast your lines into the sea in order to snag the most points on your fish. Good thing you can somewhat see what sort of fish lurks in a shoal before you cast, although you can only tell its size range. Snag hooks to build your power and catch larger, more valuable fish as you compete, triggering abilities to cause all sorts of chaos to the plans of your opponents. But beware, catch the most number of Foul fish, and there’s going to be a penalty to pay…
Shallow Regrets: The Fisher and the Frod Expansion
Hello, fellow fishing human. Frod loves normal fishing with stick. Definitely not catch with mouth. Nope. Frod show everyone he best fishing human. You take stick now. We fish.
Challenge Frod to a competition in this solo mode for the excellent Shallow Regrets game. This one has simple mechanics, as you take your turns as usual. Frod, on the other hand, triggers abilities and targets shoals based upon his drawn Frod card. Unlike you, he can catch whatever fish he draws, since he targets the first within his range of power from his target shoal, meaning you had best reel the fish in fast and use the abilities as best as you can to slow down his progress!
Shallow Regrets: Lingering Remorse Expansion
Sometimes the things you bring up from below can stay with you. This expansion for Shallow Regrets adds cards with a lingering effect.
A small 6-card expansion with big impact on the game of Shallow Regrets! These cards have, well, a lingering effect when they come into play and remains that way until someone manages to exhaust them. These can be as simple as providing immunity for that fish or restriction on what fish size you can go after, or as interactive as making it so they exhaust a fish when targeting you or your own fish. Plus this expansion makes the game play up to 4, which is an added perk!

Game of the Week: Wreck-A-Mecha on sale for just $4!
Build your own Mecha and battle it out with another player.
If you enjoy head-to-head dueling games, then this is going to be right up your alley. You’ll be playing cards onto your Mecha, granting it arm and leg abilities to help you defend or, hopefully, to attack and damage your opponent for points. Destroy a part and you get it into your VP pile. Do enough damage and you’ll win! It is simple, fast-flowing, and a whole lot of fun - especially since you can save back arms to defend and, if the right type of arm defends the attack, it could possibly reduce that damage. But you also need a leg to defend, so don’t forget about leg day…
