Rome Alone
You are one of the legendary emperors of the Roman Empire. And it’s time to show your mettle. Expand your empire through military conquest. Build infrastructure and glorious monuments. All while keeping the barbarian hordes at bay. Will you bring glory to the Empire? Or will your reign be just another forgotten page in history?
A solitaire game of managing resources and using actions effectively, this one will have you making a tough decision on every turn as you draw three cards, but can only use one of them and the one you use is either for its resources or its action. Make sure to save enough to fend off the barbarians at the end of each round as you seek to expand the Roman Empire across the land. I love compact and challenging solo games like this, and with a campaign mode available to play as well, there’s plenty of replay that you can find while playing Rome Alone.
Personal Vendetta
In Personal Vendetta, each player is a clone fighting for revenge against their duplicates. Choose to either play as a nameless, identical copy of each opponent, or specialize your identity with a unique persona card. Each persona's brain is fashioned from a clone of The Original, but through a series of mental and physical upgrades (and downgrades), has diverged to form a distinct individual.
Fans of games like Android: Netrunner will rejoice at a 2+ player head-to-head card game. Like many of these games, the object is to reduce your opponent down to 0 in one of their two categories. However, the twist here is that you’re spending those same categories to complete your own actions, presenting an interesting dynamic in whether it is best to be aggressive in deploying cards to deplete your opponent (or protect your own), or to be frugal in playing things to try and outlast them. With unique personas that you can use, the game can be made asymmetric in feel from the start. If you enjoy these competitive card-driven games, then this one is sure to delight.
Aqua ROVA
Sometimes even the familiar can be alien. As a ROVE (Results-Oriented Versatile Explorer) you are accustomed to the rigors of space, but the impenetrable darkness of the ocean depths is a brand-new challenge to confront.
A fun little puzzle of a game that will feel very familiar in the basics to those who have played the original ROVE game. However, familiarity with the first game is not required at all to play and enjoy this one. You’ll be moving cards around in a grid to perfectly match the designated pattern, and you’ll need to complete 7 of them in order to win the game. Cards will let you move your grid around, push cards along the way, and more as you manipulate things time and again to seek after victory. Will you be able to venture into the depths of the ocean, or will you need to go back to the kiddie pool? Dive on in and find out for yourself!
ROVE: Dive Mode
Win a game of ROVE, then set up a game of Aqua ROVE with some changes.
A fun and interesting challenge that allows you to bring together the two ROVE main games to really stretch your mental capacity. With this, you complete ROVE as usual and then, instead of starting a fresh game from the Aqua ROVE set-up instructions, you replace the modules in their position with the Aqua ROVE modules that match based on a list, and try to win from there. Do it, and you get bragging rights and the title of Ultimate Amphibious Explorer. Do you think you are up to the challenge?
Dangerous Space: Dekkar, Retrieve Mission
Dekkar was trained by a secretive sect of martial warriors whose code devotes each to a life of daring missions and quests.
Dekkar has his work cut out for him this week, as he is going to be marking spaces next to the Databits with identical numbers. He brings plenty of tools to help him along the way, with plenty of good options on upgrading his gear, and his skills can be useful for when he has to deal with threats along the way. The most challenging thing for him might just be hoping the dice roll in his favor before he runs too low on time, but you might just find that Dekkar is still up for the challenge this week.

Game of the Week: Wreck-A-Mecha
Build your own Mecha and battle it out with another player.
If you enjoy head-to-head dueling games, then this is going to be right up your alley. You’ll be playing cards onto your Mecha, granting it arm and leg abilities to help you defend or, hopefully, to attack and damage your opponent for points. Destroy a part and you get it into your VP pile. Do enough damage and you’ll win! It is simple, fast-flowing, and a whole lot of fun - especially since you can save back arms to defend and, if the right type of arm defends the attack, it could possibly reduce that damage. But you also need a leg to defend, so don’t forget about leg day…
