The Beast Bulletin Vol. 6
The Beast Bulletins are the definitive, build-your-own-monster-manual profiles for creatures in Four Against Darkness, all depicted with handmade, ink-on-paper illustrations by Andrea Sfiligoi. Designed to be printed and placed in a 3-ring binder.
These are delightful additions to any Four Against Darkness player’s collection, because they come featuring some baddies you’ll find in the game. The benefit, of course, is the suggestion to place them in a 3-ring binder, allowing you to organize and quickly find all sorts of creatures in the midst of a game session. With 16 nasties in here, including the dreadful Golem of Wood and Nails, the fearsome Fungus Champion, and the menacing Meat-Eating Moss…you will enjoy having this even if you don’t play 4AD to have as a reference for ideas when writing or playing other TTRPGs.
Bluff Pastry
Uh, oh, the moment the Queen hired two pie chefs you feared this day would come. The castle is expecting important visitors and they’ve sent a messenger ahead with their very specific pie requests. Now, the Queen has assigned a pie to each of you, and you better not get it wrong.
Bluff and guess your way into the position as the official pie chef in this quick little head-to-head game. You’re working to assemble your 4 ideal ingredients for the pie, but those are determined both secretly and randomly prior to the game starting. Each round you’re playing cards face-down, announcing its type, and your opponent guesses if you’re bluffing or not. Depending on the success of that guess, things can change radically in the form of stealing a card from a player’s hand, and more. Thankfully, each round you get to play a card down to lock it in as an ingredient!
Monster Dinner Party
Monsters are a picky bunch. Seat them around the dinner table in the best arrangement to score the most points.
An interesting little game, which should come as no design to those familiar with this designer (of games like Quests over Coffee, Tower of Letterdrop, and Dungeon Run: Pocket). This is bound to be a fast-playing game that you can sneak in during a break at work or, surprise of all surprises, while waiting on your dinner. Maneuver the monsters around the table, triggering their abilities successfully to be able to seat them for scoring. Any monster unable to be seated via their ability is seated by flipping over for a nice -1 point. Challenge this little puzzle and I am sure you won’t be able to stop after just one play.
Battle Pages: Kingdom of Hellenburg, Marching Order 1
We have a new Kingdom for the next few weeks, and like the last one we’ll kick it off in celebratory style by looking closely at the Hero that you’ll be joining for the next couple of weeks. General Rix is a nice hero, coming with a natural ability to be able to target any adjacent enemy. What makes him shine, though, is that he is able to spend his charges on any unit, granting even greater battlefield flexibility like any good General should offer!
Power Creep: Bohdan, Uptown 2113
A figure walks through the streets at night. The few who’ve escaped its gaze tell strange stories of its power.
We have another new entrant for our weekly Power Creep, and this one is an installment you’re going to like because it changes the way you approach things. For instance, the Creep track has a Food Shortage event that happens fairly early, which marks out all unclaimed Food items on the map. That could be a huge hit, since you use the Food to reroll a die. But that’s not all! No, my friends, these Pyro Nomads are mean suckers who will make you lose a health when they trigger if you left an unclaimed Fuel in a completed structure. So I suppose you’re going to want to grab every Food and Fuel as you work through these structures…at least until the Food is all gone…
Dangerous Space: Geida, Diffuse Mission
Geida was always the sidekick until her entire team got “wiped” in a faulty training exercise. Now she goes solo on all missions.
Geida is going to have a decent time running through the Diffuse mission this week, since she’s going to be able to make use of her Risk Taker skill to boost an unused die by 1, helping you lock down some extra Even die sides to fulfill the mission requirements - notably, several bombs have adjacent spaces that are Dangerous Spaces, allowing that skill to really mesh well here. Best of luck to you on rolling high, though, as you will NOT want to mark a 1 or a 2 in the row or column of an active bomb…
GRIMLORE Profane Truths - Case File #28: Lukas Miller, Geologist
Lukas Miller, a geologist in his early forties still scarred by his first investigation among Arkham’s treacherous sinkholes, has traced seismic anomalies to Red Hook. Beneath crumbling warehouses, he discovers that the ground itself vibrates with unnatural rhythms. Discolored ledgers and occult symbols suggest a malign presence stirring beneath the harbor's bedrock. Each clue dredges up the same cold dread that once nearly shattered his reason. Shadows stretch into clawed silhouettes, whispering secrets no science can explain. Though he once vowed never to face such horrors again, Lukas knows he must confront the lurking force, or see Red Hook swallowed in darkness.
Another wonderful installment from our friends behind GRIMLORE, this one has you facing down some Cultists, Eldritch Husks, and eventually taking on Yrinth the Tyrant. Put your lettering skills to the test as both of the bigger foes on here run the risk of making it so you cannot put a letter into their lanes for the turn - something that might have you calling one too many audibles in order to find success. Take up the charge and venture forth, because someone has to save Red Hook from these unspeakable horrors!

Button Shy Game of the Week: Aqua Rove: Risky Reefs Expansion
A flourishing coral reef holds a bounty of new experiences for an intrepid ROVE, though navigating its obstacles requires careful planning.
The perfect expansion for those who want a little more challenge out of their Aqua Rove experience, the six movement cards in here all have some limitation on the movement when compared to the base cards - such as only ¾ of the directions being present for movement. Spice things up by mixing these in, and then go along for the ride as you tackle Endurance Mode to see if you can get to 12 successful missions.

Game of the Week: A Nice Cuppa on sale for just $2!
Demanding jobs, unpaid bills, health concerns: modern life is filled with constant worry. Let your burdens drift away, if only for a moment, in the rich aromatic steam of your favorite tea.
A game of manipulating worries and cups of tea in a row, working to navigate worry effects and end the game with cards in ascending order as much as possible. There’s a lot to enjoy in the Almes’ line of solo games, and this is sure to appeal to anyone who enjoys his previous work. I’ve heard from many that this is exactly the zen-like solo game they want when sitting down to enjoy their own cup of tea, and if that sounds like something you’re hunting for in your solo collection, you won’t want to miss this one!
