Legends of the Arena: Alysia vs. Fitz
Two teams of legends face each other with a singular goal: to knock their foes out of the Arena and claim victory!
Inspired by the greatness that is Super Smash Bros., this game is going to have you stacking actions, and then revealing them in order simultaneously to deal damage and/or defend damage as you jockey for position in the arena. Knock your opponent off the edge enough times to be declared the victor. In this set you get a beefy brawler in Fitz, who specializes in grappling and countering, facing Alysia, who unleashes a flurry of strikes upon her opponents to claim the victory. Manage your hand of basic cards, time your ultimate attack well, and victory can be yours.
Concealed: Fulfill the Prophecy
Concealed is a print and play solitaire card game that you can enjoy at your own pace, whether you're just looking to unwind or you're in the mood for a bit of a brain teaser.
This little game uses a deck of playing cards, and will have you trying to manage your hand as you fill in the requirements of the board, playing based on suit, numbers, and more to try and add one (or more) card into each section of the board without running out of plays. With a Zen mode to ease you in, and a full mode to play where you score points based on the cards you use in relation to each other every turn, there’s a lot of game packed into a small package here. And, as a bonus
Battle Pages: The Kingdom of Therax, Marching Order 3
Masters of crystal magic. It’s no wonder that their home is under attack from plunderers.
We’re back with more Battle Pages, and this map has a LOT of grass spaces on there. If you recall from a few weeks ago, the big baddie does damage to your units when he spawns on grass, making it highly likely that he’s going to hurt you when he comes. But your friendly units will be a great help this week, starting with the Catapault, which not only can attack flying (you need that!), but it can also get +1 damage when you place it on a mountain space. There’s plenty of those at the top of the map. But the real cool one is the Pegasus, which not only attacks flying units, and can target anything adjacent, but can also grant any of your adjacent units the ability to attack flying units. Up and away!
Power Creep: Earlene, City Center 2111
Disturbing reports from other regions tell of settlements completely engulfed by darkness—someone has to do something.
This week we have another installment for Power Creep, and holding true to history, the threats in Power Creep are stealing the show here. These Agitated Snakes are mean, mainly due to how often they are going to be attacking you. Sure, they trigger on a 4+ (or 5+ for the leader ones), and that’s bad enough to see a roughly 50% trigger. But these rascals also trigger when you roll at least two 1’s on any dice. That’s got the potential to be extremely annoying!
Dangerous Space; Dekkar, Quarantine Mission
Dekkar was trained by a secretive sect of martial warriors whose code devotes each to a life of daring missions and quests.
Dekkar is going to have a decent time with this one, assuming your rolls align well enough to give you a 1 often enough to trigger having it appear in each room. As you might recall, you roll more evil dice if the previous corridor lacks a 1, which means more damage incoming to you as well as a new way to lose: having a room roll 4+ evil dice. He’s got the equipment to make waves through this mission, so you just better hope luck lines up as well!
GRIMLORE Profane Truths - Case File #26: Clara Westwood, Mythos Investigator
Clara Westwood, a resolute private detective from Boston has built her name unearthing truths others fear to touch. Her sharp mind, honed on cryptic murders and urban legends, makes her an expert in unraveling occult riddles. The hidden chamber beneath the old burial mound was her first brush with something she could neither arrest nor explain. In Brittany’s shifting forests, Clara confronts the Questing Beast, whose cries resonate with the same unseen logic she once traced through city alleys. Armed with her shiny new gear, Clara prepares to test her determination against myth itself.
The literary lover in me delights at the Questing Beast making an appearance here! I’m always here for some Arthurian appearances, and while I don’t think Sir Pellinore will be pursuing it, Clara is here to do that job. She comes loaded for the task, whether bringing her Ritual Sickle, a Wyrd-Bound Slingshot, or a Stone of Hollow Names - she’s here to take down that Severed Herald and the Spectral Presences that stand between her and the beast!

Leaping Lions
No Chinese New Year celebration is complete without the lion dance. In a popular variation of the dance - especially in Malaysia - the lion dancers perform gravity-defying jumps between poles of increasing heights to the rhythm of beating cymbals, gongs, and drums.
Take turns drafting pole cards and then placing them into your line, or discarding them to upgrade a different pole or move your lion. You’re trying to maximize stars and sets of symbols that you gather, sure, but also with the caveat that your lion has to at least reach that particular platform to count the stars themselves. If you enjoy easy, but clever, 2-player competitive games, you won’t want to miss out on this one!
Leaping Lions: Aspirations Expansion
All of your practice has led to this moment. If you can outperform your rival troupe, the honor of performing at this year’s celebration will be yours!
Gain five colorful rivals to face off against with this solitaire mode for Leaping Lions. Rather than change the gameplay drastically, your turns will still flow like the base game, and the rival will have priorities for what card they will buy based on which color you are facing. With unique placement and scoring effects, as well as an optional Expert Mode to challenge, there’s a lot packed into a handful of cards in this expansion.
Leaping Lions: Prosperity Expansion
Many lion dances feature large scrolls conveying wishes for good fortune to the audience.
Six new platforms to mix into your base game experience, providing a total of 22 platforms to utilize whether playing solo or against a friend. Two of them will be removed during setup, but either way this adds a little more length to the game, as well as platforms which have requirements in order to flip them to their other side. However, you’ll find the rewards to accomplish that might just be worth the extra work it takes to get it accomplished…

Game of the Week: Legends of Dsyx: Fairy Fair on sale for just $2!
Build the fairy fairgrounds and launch awesome fireworks! Score points for food, more for games and even more for rides. At the end of the game follow your path throughout the fairgrounds and see which attractions stay open for business.
If you think you’ve seen all that the roll-and-write genre has to offer, think again. This little game may seem small and simple, but there’s a very fun press-your-luck element involved. See, you can reroll the dice any number of times you want to try and get that perfect result…until doubles appear, at which point your turn ends without a chance to build. Do you press and try for what you need, or play it safe? But unlike most games, when time runs out the game isn’t done, as you also guide travelers through your carnival games, food stands, and rides within your fair.
