Rolling Maze - Tantaria Project
You are the captain chosen to lead the Tantaria project. The colossal spacecraft, the most advanced ever built, with a large crew, contains the essence of life on Earth: seeds, DNA of animal species, knowledge, and technology. Everything is ready to begin a new chapter in the history of humanity. The road to a new home will not be easy. The immensity of space is full of mysteries and threats that will test your courage and ingenuity. Welcome to the Tantaria project. Accept the risk, enter the adventure, and lead humanity towards salvation. Everyone’s destiny depends on you!
Move around the map, dealing with the threats that appear each round based on your die rolls. Your actions - and the new monsters - are given based on those die rolls, so there’s some pressure on whether to press-your-luck to reroll a time or two to try and get what you need, or to work with what you rolled since any Creature results will be locked in automatically and bring new threats to attack. With a variety of characters to try, each with their own benefits, there’s a lot of opportunity to replay this game and have things still feel relatively fresh each time.
Numerica Fantastica
Step into the shoes (or paws) of legendary heroes like Sadie Cat and take on a trio of terrifying monsters in this brain-busting, dice-rolling adventure! Armed with your trusty dice and a pocket full of Brain Tokens, you’ll need to outsmart, out-roll, and out-math your monstrous foes. Use cunning calculations and clever combos to match the Monster’s Heart value and emerge victorious.
A fascinating, fantastic little game of dice-rolling combined with some simple arithmetic. In this one, you’re facing off against a monster and trying to roll your dice and use addition, subtraction, multiplication, and/or division to try and get to the exact number printed on the monster. What sounds simple in concept could lead to some clever attempts at calculation, as you roll several different dice types as part of your character’s attack. If you enjoy games that challenge your mind to do some clever thinking, or just want a great way to engage with a young learner of mathematics, this is a perfect little one to pick up and play.
Dungeon Pages, Overland Adventures: Geldren, Quirky Trailblazer
Geldren’s tall tales make his friends wary, but his adventurous spirit turns some stories into real-life adventures!
Geldren is an interesting character, as his appearance would lead you to believe his specialty is defense. And, well, it is…he’s got several ways to reduce the enemy’s defense by 1, making it easier to stick some hits on them. And you’re going to want to load up those hits, since the Berserk Merfolk deal additional damage for each living Merfolk, and the Corrupt Whelk boosts Evil dice if you roll too high. I still stand by the Side Quests being one of the most interesting additions here for the Overland Adventures run in Dungeon Pages, and if you’re already a fan of either Dungeon Pages or Dangerous Space, you should check this one out as well.
Dangerous Space: Dint, Commandeer Mission
Dint’s studies in advanced astrophysics have sadly gone to waste as of late, but as soon as he has enough credits…see ya!
Collecting the Databits is an easy task on paper, but there are plenty of threats in your way to complicate things. You’ll want to plan around the Bolstered Constrictors, as they will make you either lose a good die or a time space when they activate at 10+ time. Dint’s mastery of the sword will give you a good assist, letting you add 1 to the die you use to attack with a strike. Run the gauntlet that is The Twinbeam, and see if you can pull off your task of retrieving the data.

Game of the Week: The Cursed Menagerie on sale for just $4!
You are a gifted individual, imbued with the ability to detect and dispel evil spirits. Haunted objects are your speciality! Once again you’ve been called to the home of a citizen whose brush with the supernatural has left them shaken and desperate for help. WHile you certainly value your role in the community as caretaker and guardian, part of you knows there is another appeal to your line of work. You like to collect these dangerous objects. Something about locking them up safely in your vault makes the world feel just a bit safer, and more orderly. And that’s good, right?
A fun little game of rolling dice to collect items and vanquish ghosts. The neat thing is you’ll be able to see the items in their three tiers, and you know which tier of ghost is in each spot but not which ghost until you work toward acquiring an item. As you unlock more parts of the item, you reveal more of the ghost abilities until, at the end, you get to take down the ghost itself. Manage your resources carefully in order to make it through all 6 items or, if you are really bold, run the campaign to try and get even more items without losing all your health. It even comes with a shorter mode that lets you set up and play even faster - you won’t want to miss this haunting good time.

Ancient Realm: Leaders Set 2
The course of history can be steered by powerful leaders. Achieve their goals alongside other major milestones to make the most of their singular talents.
Normally I love expansions that add nothing but more of what you already love about a game, and in a sense this fits the bill. However, this expansion takes a fun and rewarding game and makes it more challenging in the form of leaders and milestones. The Leader side of the cards give you criteria to meet in order to win the game, while the milestone side triggers when a certain condition is met mid-game and adds a new challenge to work through. This is a great expansion, one that I would almost always want to use as I rarely shy away from a challenge in a solo game.
