Battle Pages: Kingdom of Scar Lake, Marching Order 1
An ancient rock from the sky created the pool that now holds enchanted blessings.
We have a new kingdom this week, with Morticai leading the way to defeat the threats against the Kingdom of Scar Lake. He’s got some pretty cool artwork, which pretty much ensures you’re going to like him. He targets diagonally, and can attack anywhere along that line. Even better is his ability when collecting gems, where you get an extra gem if your dice connects to an adjacent evil die on the map. That’s exactly what you’re going to want to keep your forces powered up and ready to defend!
Power Creep: Antoine – Uptown 2125
With word spreading of an apparent Creep vulnerability, a new surge of hope is spreading!
We have a new character this week, and that’s always exciting! I think the Creep track has some pretty standard things, with a Traitor costing you 2 health and then a leaking tanker making you roll for Radiation checks. The Threats this week are wicked, as those Bubbling Oozes get +1 attack for each adjacent space you’ve marked. That is tough enough for the regular Oozes with 2 HP, but those 4HP leaders could wreck your health in a hurry if you aren’t quick enough to finish them off!

A Collection of Monster Profiles for Four Against Darkness
I genuinely hope you pick this one up just to start using Ahtapot monsters in the future. These are cave dwellers that evolved from small freshwater squids, and they have an immunity to magic which will make them annoying. Or maybe the Dogfolk are more of your speed, especially those of you who love cats and have no qualms about defeating dogs. As usual, these are excellent for printing and putting into a binder for ease of access!
Dangerous Space 2025: Will Tensin, Deliver Mission
Will, the more brash of the Tensin brothers, is happy to dive blind for the sheer surprise and chaos that ensues. Deathwish?
This mission is a mixed bag for Will. On one hand, he is going to take extra damage from at least one of these Threats: the Adapting Sentry does +1 damage with their first attacks. But the Sharp Hunters also deal a point of damage when you hold an unused booster. Since you’re already taking +1 damage from the kit, this can add up fast. Thankfully, Will has a pretty awesome defensive skill with Hardened, allowing him to reroll when using Defend Gear.
GRIMLORE Profane Truths – Case File #40: Victor Harrington, Mythos Antiquarian
Victor Harrington is hired by the Sanitaria Club after a prank among physicians ends in scandal. A wager demanded one man watch a corpse overnight; the ‘corpse’ was breathing, then wasn’t. Now whispers say the body rises between the ticks of the club’s clock. Victor inspects the ward: a skinned mattress, chloroform bottles, chalk numerals on tile, and a rook feather tucked beneath the cadaver’s tongue. The Club’s founders insist this is hysteria, but Victor notes the mortuary’s ledger stains orbit a missing page. His dog refuses stairwell. He pockets a dowsing rod, checks the vortex wand, and signs as watcher.
Here we have a new entry with Victor, chasing down some Cursed Wights to defeat The Revenant. This sounds easy, but there’s going to be some challenge since the Wight in this scenario has 2 life lanes, meaning it’s going to be harder to take down. Fitting, I think, for a scenario dealing in some of the undead foes, and you’re going to want to bring your word game this time around. This fun little map is going to press you to the limits.

Button Shy Game of the Week: The Family Dinner: The Kid’s Table, Meat Sweets, and Tea Time Expansions
Where’s all that noise coming from? The kid’s table of course! Kids aren’t interested in what’s for dinner, they just want to play and eat candy.
If you like games that tell stories, and have players take part in telling those stories, then you won’t want to miss this game. You’ll craft a family tree, determine how people are related and some memories with the family members, and then craft six dishes with the cards - taking opportunities to continue the storytelling as is viable. Each family member also has a secret, which someone else at the table will know but they may not know it belongs to you initially. If you want a game for a group around the table, this is certain to craft the memories you’ll be talking about long after the game concludes. These expansions just add variety in the items to enjoy, as well as the topics to bring about in the storytelling aspect of the game.

Game of the Week: Dungeon Pages: Core Set FOR FREE!
Greetings young page, welcome to your first quest. We are thrilled to have someone of your prowess joining the Elder ranks. The Light knows, we need all the help we can get against these creatures of darkness.
Explore a series of dungeons using the numerical values from dice rolls as you progress to gather treasure, defeat monsters, disarm traps, and gain experience. Complete enough dungeons and you’ll get to face down the boss dungeon. If you like thinky, tactical decisions on how to best utilize dice rolls, you won’t want to pass up the chance to explore through Dungeon Pages. This little game is bound to offer plenty of replay value, as you can not only choose how much of each dungeon to explore but also how to manage what the dice are giving you and whether it is better to try for the extra XP boost or to delve deeper within a single dungeon for more rewards.
