In Capital Vices, citizens of the Capital take actions distributing colored food and money resources. Careful arrangement may earn you points at the end of the round but mistakes could generate a sin penalty! Sinning prevents you from scoring in the Virtue phase. Being the most virtuous earns you a bonus point. Work with or against your neighbors to position yourself into scoring while denying others. The first citizen to have 7 points at the end of a round is the winner.
The object of Capital Vices is to avoid a round Sin condition while also remaining virtuous. Sin conditions vary from round to round. You remain virtuous by limiting the number of resources in your player coffer. Players take turns moving resources using 7 Vice actions, the order of which are randomly set at the beginning of each round.
Lust: move two resources from one player coffer into two other player coffers.
Envy: move two resources from two player coffers into a third player coffer.
Greed: move one resource from one player coffer to another and flip it so it shows money.
Gluttony: move one resource from one player coffer to another and flip it so it shows food.
Pride: move one resource from one player coffer to another and then another resource from that player coffer to a third.
Sloth: choose any one remaining unused action to perform instead.
