You want something new and unusual to pass the time in a solo experience? Try out the first episode in the new AdvanceQuest, where you create a character and their traits and then proceed through a sequence of storyline beats mixed with rolls for advancement and skill tests to surpass those events or encounters. Even if you’ve played games like Four Against Darkness, this is sure to offer something new and fresh in a small, quick-playing package. All you need are a handful of cards to print out, and at least a full set or two of polyhedral dice. Imagination not required, but certainly helpful in bringing your resolutions to life as you go.
