Quests Over Coffee: Bountiful Boon Expansion
It's the time of year when you find yourself overwhelmed with wrapped boxes of different colors and possibilities. What is inside each one? Is it a present? Is it a dangerous threat? Maybe there's little to no difference for you! Celebrate this holiday season with all the things that matter most: whatever television and movies have told you about the holidays. This year someone told me it's a stuffed animal character that likes to be tickled, for which I refuse to participate.
Of course Quests Over Coffee would have a seasonal expansion, right? This is one of the bigger ones, containing 18 cards to mix up your experience even when the holiday season isn’t upon us. Add in new environments, quests, items, companions, and even a new shop with some festive flavor. But unlike that glass of milk you leave out, this won’t spoil after a few hours. If you love Quests Over Coffee, you’re probably already excited about this expansion, but if you’re new to the game there’s no better time than the present to unwrap a new gift in your solo gaming collection.
Adrift
That’s when you felt the explosion. You never saw it coming. You were out there, busy with minor repairs. In a split second, your body was sent spinning into space.
This is another stellar solitaire experience that is sure to get you crafting a narrative. You’re going to die, it is just a matter of time before that oxygen runs out, and so this game is all about inevitability, grief, and belief. With so many movies and books and shows to pull inspiration from, one is almost certain that there’ll be at least one or two Mark Watney, Malcolm Reynolds, or James T. Kirk’s crafted by players. Let your imagination run free in this inspired set of prompts that will tell a richly rewarding story by the time your oxygen runs out. Unless, maybe, that shred of hope you’re clinging to turns out to be your salvation.
Skulls of Sedlec: Dig & Write Game
A postcard expansion with a dig & write variant game for Skulls of Sedlec.
Okay, so the bad news is that you do need a copy of Skulls of Sedlec to play this new twist on a great game. But the good news: I happen to know a little website where you can pick up a print-and-play version of the game at the same time you grab this one. Flip cards, fill in skulls on the grid, and try to score the most points by yourself or with a room full of friends. This is sure to be a hit of an expansion for those who already found their love for digging up graves. Don’t miss your chance to experience a whole new way to play.

Game of the Week: That Snow Moon on sale for $2!
That Snow Moon is a space opera inspired by a popular movie involving space and battles, while not actually infringing upon intellectual property.
A long time ago there was a card flung far, far away. That’s right, dust off your plastoid armor and get ready to try and hide - or discover - the plans in a game where you don’t play cards…you have to do things with them. One side throws cards face-down to assemble certain cards together for victory. The other side has to drop cards onto the opposing cards, which is a whole lot harder than it sounds. Part asymmetric card game, part dexterity game, the only thing for sure is that object in the sky is certainly no moon…
