The Dungeon Pages Kickstarter has ended, but if you missed out you can still preorder right here on PNP Arcade at the discounted Kickstarter prices:

Early January we will start to fulfil the game and start the weekly dungeon releases.

It's New Game Friday! David Wiley (Cardboard Clash) is here to tell us about the new games.

Here’s what is new this week:

  • Rolling Maze - The Dungeon Tower
  • Fishing Lessons
  • Fishing Lessons: Family Friends & Fabled Fish Expansions
  • Yuletides

Rolling Maze - The Dungeon Tower

You are exploring a forgotten tower that contains many secret passageways, stairs, treasures and creatures. Few dare to enter and fewer have left.

Explore the Dungeon Tower, moving and fighting as you go. Vanquish enemies, collect treasure, and explore the depths in this solo game. Got a friend to play with? This contains rules to allow a second player to control the monsters in a head-to-head competition. With simple rules, this game will be quick and easy to get set up and start playing - something that is extremely valuable in games and in solo games particularly. If you enjoy fantasy-themed dungeon crawls, you won’t want to miss this game.

Fishing Lessons

It’s been a year since Leland Williams passed on. A year later, his family remembers his humor, warmth and - especially - his love of fishing. You play a member of his family going out on a solo fishing trip. With a specific sporting goal in mind, you’ll recall lessons and memories from Leland. If you piece together the lessons in just the right order, you’ll have a great day on the lake!

If you enjoy fishing but hate the time commitment, you might just enjoy the relaxing experience of Fishing Lessons. You’re playing cards as Lessons, which will all activate in order each round, to try and manipulate the cards in the lake to match your end-game condition. Having unnecessary cards, or too many of a type of card, showing will cost you the game, though, as fishing requires precision. Or, well, at least these lessons do. If you enjoy the solo line of games by Button Shy, you’ll probably already be inclined to like this one too, as it provides an interesting puzzle that you can play during a work break.

Fishing Lessons: Family Friends & Fabled Fish Expansions

Leland inspired everyone around him, even friends and neighbors. Though nobody seemed to learn the exact same lessons… - Leland loved telling tall tales of the ones that got away. It’s time for you to prove that these lost legends are real!

Seven cards contained between these two little expansions allow you to freshen up your Fishing Lessons experience. The Family Friends expansion adds three cards, two of which mix into your lessons to change up that experience and make it a little less predictable since two random cards will then come out. The other adds two new characters to experience. The Fabled Fish adds a legendary fish each day which, if caught, will have a massive impact upon the game experience. Whether you’re new to Fishing Lessons or a seasoned veteran, you won’t want to miss out on these little expansions.

If you like having more game for less printing, then you won’t want to miss this festive 1-card game. Grab a friend and some coins and face off in a bake off as you rack up the points. Timing is everything in this little game, as you’re going to have to plan ahead for the rotation of the card and how that shapes what becomes available. You can’t go wrong with this little holiday gem of a game hitting your table.

Game of the Week: Cow, Tiger, Santa Claus for $2

The definitive travel game. At the start of a trip, the group will draw a card from each of three categories (easy, medium, hard) and they will keep their eyes peeled for School Buses, Bears, Superheroes, and more. The first player to spot and claim one of each is the winner.

If you enjoy travel games, then you won’t want to miss this one. Spice up your car, bus, or train rides by hunting for three different items of varying difficulty. Don’t think you’ll see a Tiger on the trip - well, there might be a local school whose team is the Tigers and you might see all kinds of bumper stickers about them. Make long trips fun again without the need for digital devices as you can get the entire car involved.
