Dungeon Pages: Gloria, Virtuous Warrior
After sheltering a wounded professor from a pack of werewolves, Gloria’s life took a new and drastic change. With a little urging from the thankful teacher, Gloria went from being a farmer one moment, to a student in the fighting arts, the next.
The next installment of the delightful year of Dungeon Pages is here, and Gloria offers some really fun and interesting changes. The easiest thing to notice is that her weapon unlocks a little earlier, providing a boost to the challenges of the early part of the game. Her special ability is useful, letting you manipulate two dice. Combine that with werewolf intrigue in Whittleberry and there’s bound to be fireworks at the Ghostberry Festival! Keep the year of fun going with this new character!
Space Privateer Command
You inherited a rust bucket ship dubbed “The Yabby” in the outer rim of space from your late father and decided to do some privateer work. Start by building up your reputation and stumble into the privateer jobs as a Merchant, a Mercenary, or a Pirate to make your way in this small slice of space.
Complete a series of missions, hire and retain crew members, upgrade your ship, and fly from planet-to-planet in this solitaire game. You’ll be working to maximize the Kredits you get in the game to accomplish a lot of things, including visiting the Bar, purchasing supplies to sell for a profit later, getting parts, and more. There’s a lot of flavor here for those that want to have a fun little narrative and captain their own scrappy ship that’s in dire need of repairs and upgrades. If you enjoy games with a story and some pick-up-and-deliver mechanics, you won’t want to miss this one.
Buds & Blooms
Rival gardeners compete to see who can grow the best flowers for the annual flower show. Will your sunflowers be spectacular or simply second-rate? Will your marigolds be magnificent or merely mediocre? Whoever grows the tallest and most attractive flowers will be awarded Best in Show!
Mark Tuck is a brilliant designer of small games for a small number of players, and this one promises to be no exception. Plant and grow your buds into flowers to maximize your points, but depending on the soil it is planted in you’ll have to pay attention to things like color, numerical value, and more. A clever thinky game that’ll have you ready to exercise your green thumb once the winter months are over. If you enjoy games solo or with one other person, this is not a game you’ll be looking to prune from your collection any time soon.

Game of the Week: Paper Pinball: Ski 93 on sale for $2!
Paper Pinball is a dice print and play game that tries to capture the feeling of playing pinball. All you will need is a pencil, three dice, and about five minutes.
Each round, roll two dice and fill in one of the scoring zones. Some zones need to be filled in a certain way, and most will cause some sort of effect, so the order you fill them in is important. If you ever can't fill a zone, you'll lose a ball. Lose three balls and the game is over. Try to fill as many scoring zones as possible while triggering multipliers, opening tunnels, and getting the coveted multiball.
Is the winter weather too warm for snow? Are you eagerly waiting for a chance to take a vacation and go skiing? Do you just want something new to entertain you for 5-10 minutes in your day? If you answered yes to any of these, Paper Pinball is here to help with this ski-themed machine. Put those pinball skills from your youth to good use, although your reflexes aren’t going to be tested nearly as much on this one. Rack up the high score and share it with the world so we can all be envious when we see your name at the top. Or just pass some time in a really fun way. You just can’t go wrong with Paper Pinball.
