Avant Carde
Your eccentric collection of avant-garde art needs a public show! Hone your collection by purchasing art that attracts patrons with special powers to help you assemble the best exhibition! Every piece in your collection means more strategies to use each round. Great exhibitions earn awards! Each turn that you earn $6 or more, you’ll get an award. The game ends when the awards run out, and whoever has the most awards wins!
An interesting little card game, filled with colors and numbers on cards, and with certain numbers having unique special powers. The basic concept, of trying to play as many cards matching in color or number to the previous card you played, is interesting enough. But you add in the layer of buying new cards for your deck, allowing you to try and add more synergies while using some card powers to filter out the cards which don’t gel with what you’re buying. The more you can play, the more money you’ll have to spend for new cards and the more awards you’ll be able to win. If you enjoy deckbuilding or card-based gameplay, you will want to check out Avant Carde.
A Week in Wallem
You are a stranger who has found themselves staying at a run-down farmhouse outside the village of Wallem. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t get many visitors, and the people have gotten stuck in their routines. Your time here is short. How are you going to make the most of it?
Inspired by a genre of games, like Animal Crossing, where a person arrives in a town and helps people with things, this role-playing game can be played either on your own or with a friend. Move around the map, interact with the townsfolk, and discover what they would like your help with. Complete tasks across seven days to earn favor from the townsfolk and get a more rewarding going away party. With a variety of scenarios to set the scene, as well as freedom to create your own, this offers a fun sandbox of a game to play around in with some nice, simple rules to help guide you along the way.
Void Intentions
Void Intentions is a dungeon-crawling role-playing game. It’s set in the same world as Void Halls, but the roles are reversed. Now, take on the role of a hero, explore, and plunder this dungeon. The dice are rolled, fate is written, riches await you. But be careful - death might find you, as these dungeons are full of dangers and traps.
An enjoyable exploration game as you venture into the depths of a dungeon, seeking to find the fifth set of stairs before too much time elapses or you’ve taken too much damage. With attributes to track, and inventory to monitor, and a variety of things to find in the spaces, this game offers some fun and interesting choices as you venture through the dungeon. It is always fun to find games which reward the player for consistent rolling, and in this one you’re getting nothing if you roll a six…unless you roll it two or three times in a row, at which point you’re earning great weapons and blessings that will help you survive and thrive.
Dangerous Space: Kwadill, Eliminate Mission
Private Gin has always been fascinated by the latest weapons and gear. The kwandarian’s current favorite is the tri-blaster.
This new hero has a great toolset available to him, both with some strong skills and good gear upgrades along the way. And he’ll need every bit of them to help him eliminate the Cocky Constrictor within the Queen Blob ship. Everything in here is going to mess with you, from making you re-roll your highest good die, forcing you to cross out uncollected items, sacrificing good dice, and crossing out time spaces. As if that wasn’t enough, the boss also can prevent your use of Defend Gear when the attack trigger is a 6. If you like a challenging map, this promises to give you a little bit of trouble to navigate (in a good way!)

Game of the Week: Reapers on sale for $4!
Necromancy isn’t all fun and games, which is why once a month that deadly cabal gathers to blow off steam. Most popular with these nefarious ne’er-do-wells is a card game known as Reapers. And, naturally, the stakes with which they wager are the souls of the damned acquired through their dark dealings.
If you like trick-taking games, then look no further. This game is sure to provide some rather fascinating twists, such as winning a hand gets you the lowest card (usually) from those you won. Winning a Reaper lets you get a card from the top of the graveyard. Demon cards are high, and having one of those lets you double your highest card. And, most fascinating of all, you draft sets of 3 cards from all of the piles face-up at the start of the round. No more sheer luck of the draw, friends. When you play for these stakes, you can only blame your own poor decisions.
