In this cooperative deck builder, you’ll take on the role of one of the Small-Time Heroes and work together to defend the town. With each battle, you’ll build up your deck, choosing from a variety of cards that represent your hero’s unique abilities. As your power builds, you will defeat waves of minions and end with a final boss battle. Defeat the boss before they defeat you!
ROGUELIKE INSPIRED GAMEPLAY
Just like in a roguelike video game, each play of Small-Time Heroes is unique and highly replayable. Random generation of the setup creates emergent gameplay as you build your hero’s deck based on what is available.
A DECKBUILDER WITHOUT CURRENCY CARDS
You don’t have to buy cards, so your deck is only made up of awesome stuff! Three cards are always available. When you finish an encounter, you simply pick the card you want and add it to your deck. No longer will your hand be clogged with useless money!
KNOW THE INTENT OF YOUR ENEMIES
Intent cards give you a clue to what the enemy will do on their turn. You have enough information to assess the situation, but not always perfect information, leading to tense decisions every round.
MODULAR SYSTEM FOR EASY SET UP AND TEARDOWN
All of the content in Small-Time Heroes can be played with each other. Simply choose a hero and an enemy and you are ready to play!
