More Orchard Recipes
Four cards for your Orchard game experience to sweeten your gameplay! They provide you with relatively simple objectives to shoot for in your game in order to gain some extra bonus points, such as placing an Apple die on your first turn, or getting three dice of the same type in a row to earn even more. If you love Orchard, and if you are a solo gamer than you should, this is an easy-to-grab expansion to spice up your gameplay!
Crumbs! The Sandwich Filler Game
It’s the lunchtime rush at your cafe and you have a queue of hungry customers! Can you serve enough sandwiches in time to keep them all satisfied?
It is time to assemble sandwiches, either cooperatively to avoid losing, or competitively to see who can do a better job at filling the orders. There are only a few actions to take in a round, and you need to have at least one player fill an outstanding order in order to avoid having everyone lose the game prematurely, even in competitive mode! If you enjoy simple, fast-playing games then you won’t want to pass on Crumbs!
Beast Bulletin 9
A collection of monster profiles for Four Against Darkness.
More beasties! I love these bulletins, and this week’s entry is no exception! Grab yourself details on monsters such as the Clockwork Harrier, the fearsome Thunderhorn Rhino, or the fierce Demon Gorilla and roll them up into your 4 Against Darkness games. These help you to keep everything in one location rather than hunting through book after book to find the monster you need for your adventure, and that in itself makes these worth their weight in gold!
Battle Pages: Kingdom of Oolar, Marching Order 2
Masters of glasswork with magical properties.
This week we take a look at your nemesis for the Kingdom of Oolar: the Ruby Sorceress! Her ability to target all adjacent spaces is pretty rough to counter in itself. But then you add in a new layer of evil to her: die rejection. To be more specific, she prevents you from placing a die in her region and, if a die cannot be placed, it is discarded. That’s a degree of sinister right there and, considering there are only three regions on the map, you’re almost certainly going to bump against that a time or three.
Power Creep: Peter, East ‘Berg 2116
Society has fractured, possibly for good. If there is to be recovery it will have to come from those with memories of the past.
Peter is a delightful character, coming with a background as a Medic. So it is only fitting that his Blueprint ability lets you gain some additional health when circling four matching numbers. Granted, each time you do that it only gives you an extra 2 health in that group, so it isn’t completely overpowered, but you’re going to want to make use of this because of the Threat, which is a Swarm Nest. Every time they trigger you’re adding another to the swarm and then taking damage for every 2 units in the swarm. That can add up WAY too fast, especially once you hit that Evolution to drop those threat triggers…
Dangerous Space: Dint, Deliver Mission
Dint’s studies in advanced astrophysics have sadly gone to waste as of late, but as soon as he has enough credits…see ya!
Dint is back again to take the kit to the drop point at the end of the ship. He has one attack-boosted enemy to consider: the Bolstered Constrictor, which deals +1 damage when it first attacks. Suddenly, while carrying this kit, you’re taking up to 4 damage from that first strike from any of the 3 Constrictors in this ship. For perspective, this equals out to 40% of Dint’s starting health, which means you’re going to have to work hard to manage your health and the health of this kit. Thankfully, Dint feels up to the challenge…
GRIMLORE Profane Truths - Case File #33: Jonathan Healy, Mythos Scholar
Jonathan Healy, once a linguist of forgotten tongues, now walks the line between seeker and vessel. Since the Arkham blackout, symbols follow him, etched in dreams, burned into mirrors. He hoped coastal exile would silence them. Instead, a storm revealed an ancient monastery swallowed by time. Beneath it, echoes of a sunken empire throb like a second heartbeat. As Jonathan descends, he feels less like an intruder and more like a returning supplicant. The drowned idol awaits him, not as a warning, but as a mirror. This time, he knows the glyphs. This time, they know him too.
We have another fun installment of GRIMLORE on the docket for this week. I’ll reiterate that this is absolutely a blast to play, and the fact that you can get weekly installments makes this a strong candidate to pick up. This week, Jonathan has a pretty cool ability which allows him to place letters in scenarios that he’s already left, allowing him to continue to make progress long after moving through to face down the Drowned Idol at the end of the scenario. You won’t want to miss this one!

Button Shy Game of the Week: Converge: Bastians of Tradition, Emissaries of Tomorrow, & Champions of Nature
The suns of Malvios are dying. Across the planet, survivors race to glean what hope for the future they can find in the failing light. Stoic Protectors, ambitious Searchers, and friendly Merchants converge to find the best path forward - and the team they’ll need to follow it.
This week we have all three of the new installments of Converge coming your way, each containing three unique factions that can be mixed and matched into gameplay to keep things interesting. The more you own, the more exciting the possibilities can become, since each game will see 3 factions used in full, mixing them together. During each of the three rounds, you’re building up factions while also trying to get the artifact. You do this by playing a card in one of three ways, which I love when card games provide multi-use card options! If you missed the previous Converge titles in the past, now is the perfect time to try it out and see how the game plays!
In Bastions of Tradition, we have the Orators, Stewards, and Ascetics. Orators have you discard goal cards and use their discard effects. Stewards make an opponent play a card into your faction and then they gain the Steward card. And the Ascetics have you play a card and then take a goal card.
In Emissaries of Tomorrow, we have the Agrarians, Augurs, and Engineers. The Agrarians have you take the top discarded card and then play a card. The Augurs play a card to the goal area, then take a card from either faction. And the Engineers let you draw 2 cards and take the artifact.
Finally, the Champions of Nature bring into play the Aquanauts, the Dousers, and the Tamers. Aquanauts let you move a goal or faction card to the bottom of the deck and replace it with the top card. Dousers let you swap a goal or faction card with the top discarded card. And the Tamers let you draw 2 cards and play a card to each faction.
Converge: Keepers of Order Expansion
The officious Directors that oversee the details of daily life on Malvios are bound by rigid plans and archaic regulations. Can you utilize these calculating administrators to achieve your goals?
A nice, simple solo expansion to keep you on your toes and pit you in a race against time. This works with any combination of skillsets, meaning the whole Convergeverse is at your disposal for making use of this. These 6 cards get mixed up each game, providing 3 abilities and 3 goal cards that you can make use of to try and turn things in your favor. With 5 turns, you are racing to hit those goals and earn enough stars before time runs out. Can you maximize the actions given to you?

Game of the Week: Converge: Catalysts of Change on sale for just $2!
The suns of Malvios are dying. Across the planet, survivors race to glean what hope for the future they can find in the failing light. Experimental Alchemists, resourceful Mechanists, and safe Archivists converge to find the best path forward - and the team they’ll need to follow it.
A quick little game that is easily mixable with the other sister titles in the Converge series. This one has you competing to either win while in possession of the artifact, or control it when all cards have been played. Sounds easy, right? Well, after each turn there is a scoring that happens to the end could come at any given time - but whomever has the artifact plays first. Cards can be used in one of three ways, offering plenty of small decisions as you try to steal victory from your opponent.
This particular expansion features three fun factions: Archivists who move goal cards, Mechanists that can use the top discard card, and Alchemists who can remove a card from in-play. Any of those abilities can change the tide of a game, opening plenty of strategies for players to explore.
