Jason Tagmire

It's NEW GAME FRIDAY!

Here's what's new this week:

  • Good Little Trains
  • Loss In Space
  • Pickpockets

In Good Little Trains, players become train drivers eager to delivery their cargo to the ring of colourful stations connected by an ever-changing layout of tracks.

Every turn you have a chance to switch one piece of track before both your own train and the neutral 'Ghost' train both head out across the network of rail lines. Aim to drop your own cargo at the most valuable stations, while also having an eye on where the Ghost train is headed, and what your competitors are up to!

Loss in Space is simple competitive sci-fi game for 1-4 players. You're trying to escape your home planet and get to a new planet. It's a fast paced game, where the tables can turn any minute. You can help or sabotage another player, outfit your ship with the best ship parts you can, enhance the performance your shield or weapons or engine with performance enhancers. Play with the included events expansion to add some variety to your game.

In Pickpockets players will take turns either drawing or manipulating money cards in a wallet until a player reveals themselves as an undercover cop, yelling “Hands up”. All other players will reveal their cards. The Undercover Cop Wins if at least one other player has two or more marked bills in their possession.

The game of the week is Palm Island!

Palm Island is a portable game that you can take with you anywhere. Sitting, standing, waiting, riding, flying, relaxing, alone, or together you can play Palm Island no table required.

Using a deck transforming mechanic a player uses just 17 cards over 8 rounds to shape their island and overcome its unique challenges. Store resources to pay for upgrades and upgrade buildings to access new abilities. Each decision you make will alter your village from round to round. At the end of 8 rounds calculate your victory points.
